Description
Gateway Grants from the Alabama Power Foundation help Alabama communities share their distinctive stories and welcome new visitors, industries, and neighbors. The program seeks to unlock communities’ economic and cultural value through projects that strengthen civic pride, improve community aesthetics, and create economic development opportunities.
Supported work includes purchasing or renovating signage, developing or upgrading city and municipal websites, and producing marketing materials for cities, towns, or local events. The program emphasizes appealing, welcoming signage, physical improvements in neighborhoods, and town or event promotion that generates economic impact.
