    Description

The Central Conference Theological Education Fund (CCTEF), supported by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM), strengthens theological education and leadership development across The United Methodist Church’s Central Conferences in Africa, Europe, and the Philippines. Established by the church’s 2012 General Conference, the fund has awarded more than 1,000 grants.

CCTEF supports theological schools, Courses of Study, libraries and contextual resources, scholarships, faculty development, and innovative approaches to theological education. Its work brings together support for educational institutions, teaching resources, and the preparation of faculty and ministry leaders. The fund is part of GBHEM’s broader work to connect the church and the academy and prepare transformative leaders for the church and the world.
