Description
This grant provides supplemental funding for early career anesthesiology physician-investigators who have received a National Institute on Aging (NIA) GEMSSTAR (R03) award. The Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) GEMSSTAR Grant specifically supports the Professional Development Plan (PDP) component, enabling recipients to pursue targeted education, training, and career advancement activities in aging or geriatric research within anesthesiology. The goal is to help awardees develop as leaders in this field by providing resources not covered by the NIA R03 award.
