Description
The General Conference (GC) Travel Grant is managed by the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS) to help members in need of financial assistance participate in its Annual Meeting. Also described as the Conference Registration Support Fund, it provides a registration discount rather than funding a research project or other scholarly work.
Despite the travel-grant name, the assistance is specifically for conference registration, not transportation or accommodation. Applications identify the Annual Meeting panel or panels on which the applicant will speak. The current application cycle supports participation in the 2027 Annual Meeting, held April 1–3, 2027, in Portland, Oregon.
