Description
General Inquiry is an intake and resource-navigation pathway run by Humboldt Area Foundation & Wild Rivers Community Foundation (HAF+WRCF). It allows organizations to share project needs when none of the foundation’s current grant opportunities fits. The foundation team assesses available resources and directs organizations toward appropriate support at the foundation or elsewhere, rather than offering a specified grant award.
HAF+WRCF serves Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties in California and Curry County in Oregon, including the region’s rural and Native lands. Its funding priorities are guided by racial equity, just economic development, healthy ecosystems and environments, and thriving youth and families. The foundation aims to minimize vulnerability and increase equity while strengthening institutions, providers, and leaders. General Inquiry does not identify a research or science requirement.
