Description
The General Inquiry option from Humboldt Area Foundation (HAF), also known as HAF+WRCF (Wild Rivers Community Foundation), is designed for organizations whose funding needs do not align with any currently open grant opportunities at the foundation. By submitting a General Inquiry, organizations can introduce their projects or funding requirements, allowing HAF staff to assess potential resources, offer guidance, and, where possible, direct applicants toward appropriate support—either within the foundation or through external partners. This process helps HAF+WRCF identify emerging needs in Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity, and Curry counties, and ensures organizations are connected to the most relevant resources, even when no dedicated grant program is available.
