Description
The General Observers Program, administered by the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI), provides the global astronomical community with annual opportunities to propose scientific investigations using the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). Selected proposals receive observing time on JWST, supporting a wide range of research from exoplanet studies to galaxy evolution. Proposals are evaluated through a dual-anonymous peer review process to ensure fairness and scientific merit. Both new and established researchers, regardless of nationality or institutional affiliation, are encouraged to apply.
