Description
The Illinois Arts Council’s General Operating Support (GOS) grant provides flexible operating funding to eligible not-for-profit organizations and government branches that deliver ongoing arts programming to their communities across Illinois. The program emphasizes accessibility, community engagement, and sustaining vibrant cultural offerings. An optional Youth Employment in the Arts (YEA) grant is also available for GOS recipients, supporting temporary employment opportunities for Illinois youth (ages 14–22) in arts-related roles.
