Description
The General Research Grants: Research Scholarships program from the Gerda Henkel Stiftung provides individual funding for postdoctoral researchers and scholars with a postdoctoral lecture qualification (habilitation or equivalent) in the historical humanities. The program supports self-directed research projects that are distinct from prior doctoral work, with the aim of fostering new scholarly contributions in fields such as Archaeology, History of Art, Historical Islamic Studies, History, History of Science, History of Law, and Prehistory and Early History. Funding covers the recipient’s working time and may also include travel and material costs, supporting full-time research for a period of 1 to 24 months.
