Description
The Aaron Copland Fund for Music’s General Support Program provides unrestricted funding to organizations with a substantial history of contemporary American concert music, jazz, or both, and plans to continue that commitment. It supports performing ensembles, presenters, music service organizations, and record companies whose artistic excellence and impact improve public knowledge and appreciation of this repertoire.
Support covers organizational season activity, including performance, recording, presenting, and services to the music field. Eligible work also includes professional development, artist support, broadcasting, journalism, and archives. The program emphasizes sustained commitment across multiple seasons rather than an isolated project.
