Description
The George D. Kuh Award recognizes an individual whose sustained research and scholarship have made an exceptional contribution to student affairs. Presented by NASPA, it considers a body of work published in formats such as journal articles, book chapters, and online articles, with attention to whether that work addresses important, substantial issues in higher education.
The award also considers the work’s national or international implications for higher education. NASPA looks at how research is used in presentations, policy, industry practice, or graduate-level programs, as well as the nominee’s breadth and depth of engagement with the association.
