Description
The Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS) administers this competitive, state-funded FY 2027 program to facilitate gang activity prosecutions in Georgia. It supports investigating and prosecuting entities in obtaining or updating gang case management systems, enhancing their investigative and prosecution capabilities, and strengthening community security and resilience.
The program is grounded in risk-driven, capabilities-based strategic plans that identify high-priority prosecution needs. These plans involve government officials, elected leaders, and the whole community in sustaining existing capabilities and addressing gaps. Applicants must explain how their projects will lead to gang activity prosecutions and safer communities.
