Description
The Society of Exploration Geophysicists' Geoscientists without Borders program funds global projects that use applied geoscience to address critical environmental and humanitarian challenges. The initiative aims to empower geoscientists to develop solutions for issues like water scarcity, disaster risk reduction, and environmental hazards, with a strong focus on multidisciplinary collaboration and local impact. Projects must demonstrate humanitarian benefits, involve students (especially local students), and support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
