Description
The Geoscientists without Borders program, led by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), supports geoscientists in applying their expertise to humanitarian projects that address critical environmental and disaster-related challenges globally. The initiative funds projects that leverage applied geoscience—such as water resource management, disaster risk reduction, and environmental hazard mitigation—to create sustainable, positive impacts in vulnerable communities. Projects emphasize local collaboration, student engagement, and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
