Davis by supporting projects and travel that promote diversity and inclusion in the field of folklore. The program offers two distinct pathways:
- Presence Pathway: Provides travel funding for participation in the AFS Annual Meeting.
- Project Pathway: Supports community-engaged scholarship and projects that strengthen and connect communities through folklore.
Both pathways emphasize mentorship, cultural exchange, and the affirmation of underrepresented voices in folklore scholarship and practice.
