Summary: Supports distinguished visitors collaborating with Princeton researchers and students to enrich energy and environmental research and education.
Key Information: Applicants must identify a Princeton sponsor and propose an on-campus fellowship with benefits beyond their own work or one collaborator’s research.
Princeton University’s Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment supports distinguished visitors-in-residence who bring deep expertise in energy and environmental issues. The program welcomes perspectives from industry, government, academia, and non-governmental organizations, connecting practical experience with collaborative research and education. Fellows engage with faculty, researchers, students, and the broader Princeton community to enhance the Center’s intellectual and academic life.
Proposed activities must significantly enrich the Center’s research or educational programs. Activities may include team research involving multiple faculty or research staff, teaching or guest lecturing, and organizing talks or workshops. Proposals addressing the Center’s Research Initiatives are of particular interest. Fellowship plans should deliver broader benefits rather than simply advance the visitor’s career, research, or teaching, or a single collaborator’s research.
