Description
The Geriatric Oral Research Award is an International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist Award supported by Haleon. It aims to stimulate, encourage, and recognize outstanding accomplishments in geriatric oral research. The award honors researchers who have conducted original and important investigations in basic, clinical, or epidemiological sciences associated with the field, including health services research and behavioral science.
Recognition centers on contributions to the scientific community and the impact of the nominee’s research. Publications in refereed journals and other scholarly activities also inform selection. The IADR Science Awards Committee selects recipients, with award subcommittees composed of previous award recipients. The award is presented annually when a worthy recipient is nominated.
