Description
This joint initiative, offered by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) in partnership with the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), supports International Research Training Groups (IRTGs) between German and Canadian institutions. The program funds structured doctoral training programs that promote systematic research collaboration, coordinated supervision, and reciprocal research visits for doctoral students. The goal is to strengthen cross-border academic partnerships and enhance the quality and internationalization of doctoral education through long-term, collaborative research activities.
