Description
The Getty Foundation’s Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internships support paid summer placements at the Getty Center, Getty Villa, and museums and visual arts organizations across Los Angeles County. The program introduces college students to arts careers through substantive, project-based work in curatorship, conservation, education, publications, public programming, communications, archives, digital projects, and collections management.
The program particularly seeks perspectives underrepresented in museums and visual arts professions, including those shaped by socioeconomic status, cultural background, disability, geographical origin, and other life experiences. Eligible students from all backgrounds and undergraduate fields are encouraged to apply, without prior museum experience or an arts educational background. Supervision, an Arts Summit, and Learning Community events complement the work experience with professional development and connections to arts professionals.
