--- ## Description The Getty Scholars Program at the Villa offers residential grants to support advanced research on the arts and cultures of antiquity. Scholars reside at the Getty Villa in Malibu, engaging deeply with the Getty’s renowned collections of Greek, Etruscan, and Roman art, conservation labs, and a specialized reference library. The program encourages projects that explore the ancient Mediterranean world and its connections with neighboring regions, prioritizing interdisciplinary, comparative, and transregional approaches. Scholars participate in a vibrant intellectual community, attend weekly lectures, and benefit from collaboration with curators, conservators, and other experts.
