Description
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction awards this grant to support services and activities that help gifted and talented pupils fully develop their capabilities. The funded work provides learning opportunities beyond those ordinarily available in a regular school program.
Projects serve pupils in kindergarten through grade 12 through systematic and continuous learning opportunities. They may address general intellectual ability, specific academic ability, creativity, leadership, or the visual and performing arts. Wisconsin law authorizes awards to nonprofit organizations, cooperative educational service agencies, institutions within the University of Wisconsin System, and school districts.
