Description
The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia administers two giving circles whose members collectively determine funding priorities. The Business Women’s Giving Circle (BWGC) supports programs promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and inventive opportunities for women and girls. Its grants focus on STEM experiences for girls and young women, with innovative components such as leadership, entrepreneurship, or mentorship.
The Loudoun Impact Fund is managed jointly with the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties. It supports human services in Loudoun County for vulnerable or at-risk children and youth, people with disabilities, and older adults. Members pool donations to fund local services and projects addressing needs within these populations.
