Description
Gilead Sciences’ Corporate Giving program partners with organizations serving communities disproportionately affected by disease, particularly people left out of traditional healthcare systems. It supports community-informed, data-driven work that expands awareness, strengthens engagement and connects people to prevention services and early intervention. Priorities include strengthening healthcare infrastructure, expanding education, advancing health equity, increasing diversity in clinical trials and improving access to medicines.
Funding requests may address HIV, liver disease, oncology or chronic inflammatory diseases. Gilead prioritizes initiatives with meaningful outcomes and organizations able to deliver the specific services proposed. Alongside grants, it sponsors selected events and conferences in the United States and internationally that raise awareness and support organizations working in its therapeutic areas. It also supports local communities where it operates.
