--- ## Description The Glen Ellyn Fund Initiative is a partnership between the Village of Glen Ellyn and the DuPage Foundation, established to support projects that deliver lasting and incremental benefits for Glen Ellyn residents. The fund invests in projects that go beyond existing community offerings, focusing on five priority areas: community arts and cultural programs, social and recreational programs, environmental sustainability, green and open space, and infrastructure and capital improvements. The initiative is guided by an advisory committee of local residents and leaders and aims to preserve and enhance the quality of life in Glen Ellyn. --- ## Due Dates - September 2026: Full application deadline (anticipated/projected; applications must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m.) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - Applicants may request up to $20,000 per project. - Grants are awarded for a one-year period. - The total available funding may be distributed among multiple projects. --- ## Eligibility Eligible applicants include: - Not-for-profit public charities classified as exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. - Glen Ellyn governmental entities, for projects beyond the scope of the annual municipal budget.
