Description
The Global Champion Fund is part of the University of Zurich (UZH) Global Funding Scheme, administered and coordinated by UZH Global Affairs. It supports large-scale international collaborations with strong institutional buy-in, longer-term sustainability, and the potential for lasting global impact. The scheme enables faculties, departments, and professional service units to develop joint initiatives advancing the UZH Global Strategy 2030.
Supported collaborations draw on researchers and units across UZH, particularly through Network and Priority Partners and relevant non-academic actors working at the interface between science, policy, and diplomacy. Initiatives may address internationalization in education, research, innovation, societal outreach, or professional services delivery. The fund aims to extend UZH’s international network and strengthen its visibility, impact, and international engagement.
