Description
This opportunity from the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy (GHSD) funds projects that operationalize the America First Global Health Strategy by supporting health system strengthening, disease elimination, outbreak response, and nutrition in high-burden settings. Funding is offered via an Annual Program Statement (APS) with specific Addenda released during quarterly windows, each targeting different technical or geographic priorities (e.g., neglected tropical diseases, nutrition, digital health, country-specific initiatives).
Applicants must submit a concise Statement of Interest (SOI) in response to a specific Addendum, outlining a concept for addressing identified health gaps or priorities. Selected SOIs may proceed to a consultative design phase and/or full application. The program emphasizes country ownership, sustainability, and measurable health and security outcomes, with a strong focus on integration with existing health systems and platforms.
