Description
The Mayo Clinic Global Health Scholars Program offers financial support and mentorship for Mayo Clinic residents, fellows, and learners to participate in elective clinical rotations in underserved international communities. The program is designed to cultivate future leaders in academic and clinical medicine by providing immersive, hands-on experiences in resource-limited settings. Participants gain exposure to diseases and medical challenges uncommon in Western healthcare, develop cultural awareness, and enhance their clinical skills through direct patient care.
