--- ## Description This grant supports projects that create the conditions for anthropologists to conduct better work, with an emphasis on initiatives where a modest investment can yield broad and lasting impact. From 2026–2030, the program prioritizes public anthropology projects designed to reach general audiences, encouraging applicants to use diverse anthropological tools, theories, and methods for accessible, socially consequential knowledge sharing. Examples include media campaigns addressing misinformation or health inequities, curriculum partnerships, media training for scholars, and applied incubators to inform policy. Projects may be short-term interventions or long-term infrastructure, but those aiming for enduring impact must include realistic sustainability plans.
