Description
The Global Innovation Fund (GIF) invests in early- to growth-stage innovations that can significantly improve the lives of people living on less than $5 per day in developing countries. GIF provides flexible capital—including grants, equity, and debt—alongside deep technical, financial, and advisory support. The fund's aim is to accelerate the scaling of promising solutions, particularly those that build climate resilience and unlock inclusive economic opportunities. GIF prioritizes investments in Africa and Asia and targets sectors such as agriculture, education, health, gender equality, and financial and social inclusion.
