Description
Empire State Development (ESD) administers the Global NY Fund Grant Program to help New York State companies begin exporting, enter new foreign markets, and expand existing international sales. It also supports nonprofit organizations providing export assistance and trade education to New York businesses. The program aims to increase exports of New York products and services while creating and retaining jobs.
Supported work includes foreign-market customization, trade shows and missions, export education, product adaptations and certifications, export development services, and export management and compliance. A foreign direct investment (FDI) category supports qualified nonprofit economic development organizations attracting overseas investors to New York. FDI activities must align with Regional Economic Development Council objectives.
