Description
Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation, funds this award to develop early-career researchers addressing global health needs through oncology research. Projects are conducted under the guidance of a scientific mentor. The program particularly seeks to support investigators based in low-resource settings and highly encourages applicants from low- and middle-income countries.
Projects may examine questions specific to low-resource settings, investigate resource-limited settings from a higher-resource setting, or bring investigators from both settings together around shared concerns. Relevant work includes clinical and translational research, innovative care delivery, prevention, palliative care, implementation research, and studies of health systems, outcomes, and economics related to cancer control and care.
