The Global Oncology Young Investigator Award (GO YIA) is designed to encourage and promote quality research in global oncology by supporting early-career investigators. This mentored award aims to develop the next generation of researchers who will address critical global health needs related to cancer. Projects may focus on scientific questions in low-resource settings, issues in resource-limited areas from high-resource investigators, or collaborative research between high- and low-resource investigators. Research areas include clinical and translational research, innovative care delivery, prevention, palliative care, implementation research, and health systems or outcomes research related to cancer control and care.
