The Global Outreach Fund, supported by Freie Universität Berlin and administered by UZH Global Affairs, is designed to enhance the international profile of the University of Zurich (UZH) by supporting collaborative projects that address pressing global challenges. The fund encourages partnerships with universities on the Network and Priority Partner list or with reputable policy organizations, research institutes, or boundary organizations. Supported initiatives include joint public events, expert dialogues, science communication activities, and participation in international forums, all contributing to UZH’s Global Strategy 2030 objectives. Projects must demonstrate clear institutional impact, innovative internationalization, and, where possible, co-funding from partner institutions.
