Summary: Supports early-stage international research collaborations to help UZH researchers and partners develop proposals for larger grants and expand UZH’s global network.
The Global Seed Fund, part of the UZH Global Funding Scheme, is designed to initiate and strengthen early-stage collaboration and proposal development between University of Zurich (UZH) researchers and international partners. The fund supports exploratory or preparatory activities that lay the groundwork for strong applications to larger, competitive third-party grants. Projects should contribute to expanding UZH’s international network and advancing the objectives of the UZH Global Strategy 2030, especially through interdisciplinary and global partnerships.
