The UZH Global Funding Scheme is designed to empower faculties, departments, and service units at the University of Zurich (UZH) to develop and implement impactful joint initiatives with international partners. The scheme supports projects that advance the objectives of the UZH Global Strategy 2030, emphasizing the expansion of UZH’s global network, visibility, and engagement at the intersection of science, policy, and diplomacy. There are three funding lines: Global Seed Fund, Global Outreach Fund, and Global Champion Fund, each targeting different scales and stages of international collaboration. Eligible projects may include early-stage proposal development, strategic partnership building, policy engagement, joint academic activities, and initiatives that foster science diplomacy.
