The Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA) facilitates international research collaborations by funding the mobility of senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows for research projects lasting 12 to 48 weeks. Projects are conducted under the joint supervision of a home and host professor, either in Canada or abroad, with the goal of expanding innovation networks and strengthening global partnerships. The award is available through two streams: the Allocation Stream (managed by participating Canadian universities) and the Quantum Stream (for quantum-related research, open to all Canadian universities). Additional international partner opportunities, such as those with India and South Korea, may include enhanced funding and specific eligibility criteria.
