Globalink Research Award supports students and postdoctoral fellows through international research internships that expand their research experience and strengthen Canadian and international academic collaborations.

Description
The Globalink Research Award (GRA), delivered by Mitacs with Canadian academic institution partners, supports international research collaborations through researcher mobility. Full-time senior undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows undertake research in Canada or abroad from Canada under joint supervision by home and host professors. Projects help participants expand their research experience and build new or strengthen existing university collaborations.
The program operates through an allocation stream managed by participating Canadian universities and a quantum stream open to all Canadian universities. Quantum research includes computation hardware, algorithms and software; communication, networks and cryptography; and metrology, sensing, imaging and materials. Awards support research-related expenses, travel, accommodation, and stipends.
