The Glyn White Research Fellowship promotes research in perinatal medicine through the RANZCOG Women’s Health Foundation, with financing from the William Angliss Charitable Trust. Founded in 1989, it commemorates J Glyn White, CBE, a specialist in neonatal paediatrics and Fellow ad eundem FRACOG.
The fellowship supports graduates in medicine or science who are within five years of receiving a Masters or PhD, with provision for significant career disruption. It is a research-only grant directed towards a research study in Victoria, rather than broader professional activities. Work involved in or associated with embryonic research is excluded. Assessment considers the applicant’s research experience and career development alongside project quality, feasibility, supervisory support, and the research environment.
