Description
The World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship helps public servants turn underused government data into actionable insights that improve administrative functioning and decision-making. Building on the Government Analytics Handbook, it combines learning, project development, and expert support from the World Bank and University of Oxford. Its focus is analytics of government administration rather than policy analysis, with projects addressing real institutional challenges.
The fellowship offers online-only, immersive in-person, and regional hub tracks. Participants join a global learning community of public servants, data experts, academics, and practitioners. The immersive track is an intensive six-month commitment, including approximately two weeks in Washington, D.C., and dedicated mentoring from a World Bank expert related to each fellow’s project. The 2027 program plans to select 40 fellows.
