Description
The Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC) provides fellowships that add to graduate students’ existing research support. Applicants propose a specific faculty-mentored STEM project with NASA or aerospace relevance that supports NASA’s mission and aligns with a NASA Mission Directorate.
The program aims to advance graduate STEM research, recognize academic achievement and promise, and encourage careers in STEM. Awardees present their research at VSGC’s Annual Student Research Conference and submit a paper for its proceedings. Fellowships are awarded annually and may be renewed for one year with satisfactory academic and research progress.
