The Medieval Academy of America offers Graduate Student Annual Meeting Bursaries to support graduate student members presenting papers at its Annual Meeting. The program recognizes papers judged meritorious by the local Program Committee, connecting financial support to graduate student contributions accepted for the meeting’s program.
Recipients are selected using abstracts previously submitted for consideration. The bursaries therefore focus on the merit of accepted paper proposals rather than a separate research project. Applicants may also request consideration for the Best Student Paper Prize through the bursary application. That prize is a separate recognition with an additional completed-paper submission requirement.
