Description
The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP), Division 2 of the American Psychological Association, offers travel grants to help graduate student presenters attend its Annual Conference on Teaching (ACT). The program supports conference participation rather than research project costs. Its central aim is to improve applicants’ teaching of psychology through the educational benefits of conference attendance, with highest priority given to applicants presenting research.
The Graduate Student Travel Grant Committee oversees the program. Consistent with STP’s mission and its Statement on Addressing Systemic Racism and Inequity, STP encourages applications from colleagues from underrepresented groups and those with diverse backgrounds and experiences. The society also collects information on the program’s alignment with its mission and diversity, equity, and inclusion statements.
