Description
The New Hampshire Grant-In-Aid Program provides financial assistance to organized, non-profit off highway recreational vehicle (OHRV) and snowmobile clubs, as well as political subdivisions, for projects that enhance the development, maintenance, construction, grooming, grading, and safety of public use OHRV and snowmobile trails within the state. The program is administered by the Bureau of Trails within the N.H. Department of Natural & Cultural Resources and is funded through OHRV and snowmobile registrations and unrefunded gas taxes. Funding supports a variety of eligible activities including trail construction, maintenance, equipment purchase or reconditioning, storm damage repair, grading, and safety improvements.
