The Pacific Northwest Young Scientist Scholarship Award, offered by the FSHD Society, is designed to support students and early-career professionals conducting research related to Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD). The award provides funding to attend and present at a research conference, facilitating engagement with leaders in the FSHD field, professional development, and networking. Recipients are also invited to share their research or conference experience through a featured article in the FSHD Society’s Community Blog and Frontline digital newsletter, connecting them to a global network of patients, caregivers, and professionals.
