Description
The Edward Mallinckrodt Jr Foundation’s Grant Program supports early-career scientists as they establish research projects capable of attracting NIH R01 or other independent funding. The program is designed for tenure-track faculty members in their first through fourth year at U.S. institutions who hold an M.D. and/or Ph.D.
The foundation supports early-stage biomedical investigators conducting basic and translational research with the potential to make fundamental advances in biomedical science and advance the understanding, diagnosis, or treatment of disease. Grant support is directed to the investigator’s approved project and budget. Continued annual support depends on approved progress reports describing completed research, plans for the coming year, and resulting manuscripts.
