The Foundation for Prader-Willi Research (FPWR) Research Grant Program funds high-impact basic, translational, and clinical research to advance understanding and develop treatments for Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) and Schaaf-Yang syndrome (SYS). The program encourages bold, innovative ideas and fosters collaboration among researchers globally. Priority areas include PWS genetics, neurobiology of hunger and metabolism, cognition and mental health, and the development and evaluation of drugs, devices, and genetic therapies. Both established and early-career investigators are welcome to apply, with the aim of improving outcomes and care for those affected by PWS and SYS.
