Description
The Colorado Department of Public Safety’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management administers the State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSP) as part of the Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP). This grant supports state, local, tribal, and eligible regional agencies in Colorado to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from terrorism and other hazards. Funding is intended to build and sustain core capabilities essential to achieving a secure and resilient state, including investments in planning, personnel, equipment, training, exercises, and management costs.
