Description
The Tennessee Arts Commission offers distinct funding opportunities to cultivate the arts for all Tennesseans and their communities. Its programs encompass arts and health, arts education, community arts development, folklife, literary arts, performing arts, and visual arts, craft, media, and design. Support includes operating grants, project grants, and recognition for individual artists.

Successful applications clearly and thoroughly explain proposed activities and their intended results. Most grants are awarded annually, while others are awarded on an ongoing basis subject to available funds. The Commission may deny applications or withhold funding for programming outside the scope or spirit of its mission, purpose, or grant programs.
