Description
Oklahoma Humanities administers Grants for Student-Serving Projects to expand access to humanities-based educational materials and experiences for Oklahoma K–12 public school students. The program supports projects that enhance learning in public schools, including in-person learning events, field trips, virtual learning events, online programs, and hybrid virtual learning experiences.
Supported work centers on humanities content, such as history, literature, ethics, language, art history, and cultural anthropology. The evaluation rubric considers how clearly projects develop their humanities themes, involve relevant humanities scholars, and provide accessible opportunities for engagement. It also assesses the applicant’s capacity to deliver the project, planning and outreach, and whether the proposed budget is justified and reasonable.
