Description
Hayswood Foundation’s grant program supports nonprofit organizations located in, or benefiting residents of, Bracken, Fleming, Lewis, Mason, and Robertson counties in Kentucky and Adams and Brown counties in Ohio. Projects must promote mental health, physical health, or education. Established in 1985, the program has awarded more than $10.6 million for projects both large and small, including major capital construction and improvements.
The Foundation offers regular grants and conditional matching grants. Its Grant Committee reviews applications and recommends awards, amounts, and any matching requirements to the Board of Directors. Funding priorities reflect the anticipated needs of the communities served, with preference for 501(c)(3) organizations, applicants without tax-base support, and projects that do not benefit tax-supported entities.
