    Description

The Grants-in-Aid program, offered by the Whitehall Foundation, provides targeted, one-year funding for researchers—especially those at the assistant professor level—who face challenges in securing research support due to their early career stage or transition into new research areas. Senior scientists are also eligible under certain circumstances. This program is intended to support innovative, promising research in basic biological sciences by providing flexible funding where traditional, multi-year grants may be out of reach. Evaluation criteria include scientific merit, innovation, past performance, and evidence of continued productivity. Grants-in-Aid are reviewed alongside the Foundation’s main Research Grants program.
