Description
The Nebraska Environmental Trust provides annual, competitive grants to support projects that conserve, enhance, and restore Nebraska's natural resources. Funding is available for a range of projects in categories such as habitat, water, waste management, air quality, and soil management. Proposals are evaluated for eligibility and then scored by a Grants Committee, with funding recommendations made to the Trust Board after a public hearing. Awards are provided on a reimbursement basis, and contracts can be for up to three years.
