Description
The STXBP1 Foundation's Grants Program funds investigator-led research projects aimed at deepening the understanding of STXBP1 biology and accelerating the development of transformative therapies for STXBP1-related disorders. Priority research areas include biomarker and clinical endpoint development, mechanisms of neurodegeneration, genotype-phenotype relationships, non-CNS functions of the STXBP1 protein, and drug repurposing opportunities. The program seeks to fill knowledge gaps, encourage innovative research, and ultimately improve outcomes for individuals affected by STXBP1 disorders.
