    Description

Greater Texas Foundation is a private foundation based in Bryan, Texas, supporting student-centered solutions that help more Texans earn postsecondary credentials. Its grants advance preparation for, access to, persistence in, and completion of postsecondary education, with particular attention to underserved and socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. The foundation emphasizes collaboration with grantees and programs with meaningful impact and broad reach.

Under its 2025–29 strategic plan, the foundation seeks to help high school and college learners complete credentials that support a living wage and to reengage learners disconnected from high school or postsecondary systems. Its priorities include systems-level change, scaling evidence-based practices, and innovation. It also works as a nonpartisan knowledge builder and convener, using statewide data to understand learner needs, identify system gaps, and inform grantmaking.
