Description
This grant offers established U.S. artists and designers the opportunity to spend three months in both Greece and Iceland, undertaking creative, research, or teaching projects. The program encourages applicants to draw inspiration from both the Arctic and Mediterranean environments, with grantees expected to create and showcase their work, publish as appropriate, and engage with host communities through teaching or mentoring at the university level. The award is open to professionals across all artistic disciplines, including visual arts, writing, dance, film, music, and more. Grantees benefit from support and enrichment activities organized by Fulbright Commissions in each country, and receive assistance in settling in and connecting to local institutions.
