Description
Jointly offered by Iceland and Greece through the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, this award supports artistic creation and exchange across the Arctic and Mediterranean. It welcomes all fields of art and design, including visual art, writing, poetry, dance, filmmaking, photography, design, and music. The award is intended for established artists with a substantial body of locally or internationally recognized work. Grantees are expected to exhibit, perform, or publish their work, depending on their field.
Supported activities include professional and artistic projects, research, teaching, and combinations of teaching and research. Scholars may advise students, support faculty or curriculum development, and collaborate with universities, research organizations, or other appropriate partners in both countries. The exchange also advances Fulbright’s goal of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other nations through international understanding and engagement with host communities.
